The Xin Walking Loop is a small neighbourhood challenge we run for the diners who want more than a meal. Walk between any three of our four outlets — Xin Fine Koramangala, Xin Den HSR, Xin Coonoor and Xin Ooty — inside seven days. Collect a stamp at each. Unlock a free bowl, a story, and a spot on our Walkers Wall.
Why we built it
Bengaluru is a city that walks in isolation — earbuds in, phone up, next meeting on your mind. The Nilgiris walks slower, but often alone. Restaurants sit as destinations, not as pauses in a walk. The Xin Walking Loop was designed to change that. It turns a neighbourhood into a route, a route into a challenge, and a challenge into a small ritual — the kind that pulls you off the phone.
How the loop works — step by step
Step 1 — Pick up a stamp card at any outlet
Ask any Xin server for a Walking Loop card. It is a small folded card with four boxes — one for each outlet. Free with any bowl order.
Step 2 — Walk to at least three outlets in seven days
Bengaluru diners typically pair Xin Fine Koramangala + Xin Den HSR (the two Bengaluru outlets are 15 minutes apart on foot from the Sarjapur end). Nilgiri diners pair Coonoor + Ooty. Cross-city walkers use the Nilgiri toy train.
Step 3 — Get a stamp at each outlet
Every Xin outlet has a small stamp at the counter — a unique symbol per outlet. Present your card, get the stamp, order what you like. Or don't order — you can collect stamps just by walking in.
Step 4 — Unlock the free bowl
When your card has three stamps, present it at any outlet. You get one signature bowl of your choice on the house — and your name on our Walkers Wall inside Xin Den HSR.
The four-outlet grand slam
Diners who collect all four stamps in a single seven-day window get the Grand Slam — a chef's tasting flight of five bowls at their favourite outlet, plus a limited-edition Walkers pin. Around 12 Bengaluru walkers hit the Grand Slam each quarter. It is a small tribe. We love them.
What counts as a walk
We don't track your steps. The rule is honour — if you drove, drove, drove, drove between the four, you technically qualify but you are missing the point. The loop is designed for you to pause between two meals, notice a street, catch a stranger's eye. It is a walking challenge, not a driving challenge.
Are the outlets close enough to walk between?
Xin Fine Koramangala to Xin Den HSR: 4 km, 55 min on foot through Sarjapur Road. Xin Coonoor to Xin Ooty: 19 km, best via the Nilgiri toy train (35 min journey, small stamp bonus if you show us your ticket). No city has all four in walking range — the Nilgiri leg needs the train or a scooter.
The Walking Loop is free, requires no app, and rewards the diners who want to notice their city as much as they want to eat well in it. Come pick up a card.
