Who we are
Xin is a pan-Asian café and community brand operated by MindEscapes® (Bengaluru and the Nilgiris, India). This policy explains what information we collect on xin.community, why we collect it, and the choices you have. For anything privacy-related, write to enquiries@mindescapes.in.
What we collect
Founding-partner applications — name, phone, email, city, property and capital range, business background, and anything you write in the note, along with the campaign that brought you here (UTM tags) and the page you applied from.
Mira, our AI concierge — first name, mobile number and email when you register, and the ideas and messages you share in conversation, so Mira can remember you across visits and create your Spark Cards.
Community features — ideas you choose to pin on the Xin Canvas or submit to Challenges, under the name you provide.
Usage data — pages visited, device type and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Analytics below).
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry or application; to run Mira and the community programme; to operate reservations, feedback and offers; to understand which of our campaigns work; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
Analytics & advertising cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, the Google Ads tag and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure visits and ad performance. These set cookies and may process your IP address and device identifiers. A conversion signal is sent when you submit the founding-partner form. You can opt out via your browser's cookie controls, the Google Analytics opt-out, and Meta ad preferences.
Who we share it with
Trusted processors that help us run the site: our hosting and database providers, Zoho (helpdesk for enquiries and applications), Cloudinary (image hosting), AI model providers that power Mira (your conversation content is processed to generate replies), email delivery, and Google/Meta for the analytics above. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
Partner applications: up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them. Mira profiles and conversations: while your profile stays active, or until you ask. Analytics data follows the retention settings of Google and Meta. We keep what the law requires us to keep, no longer.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, at any time — write to enquiries@mindescapes.in and we'll act within a reasonable time. If you contacted us on WhatsApp, you can also just message us there.
Children
Our kids' menu is for kids; our website accounts and Mira are for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 online.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the date above. Continued use of xin.community means you accept the current version.
